Jakarta – Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd. (HCML) won an award for Safe Working Hours (JKA) from accidents from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources at the JW Marriot Hotel, Jakarta on Tuesday, October 3 2023.
This is proven by the Patra Nirbhaya Karya Utama award received by KKKS which has worked more than 10,000,000 hours without losing work days.
HCML has achieved 15,783,954 working hours without losing work days due to accidents in the period from 1 October 2010 to 30 April 2023. This is based on Minister of Mines and Energy Regulation No.516.K/38/M.PE/1989 dated 29 May 1989.
HCML can achieve this award for its oil and gas safety management system which is carried out consistently and has fulfilled work safety and work environment aspects.
Director General of Oil and Gas (Migas) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Tutuka Ariadji, explained that the safety of oil and gas industry operations is a combination of personnel, management and good quality facilities. “I congratulate the business entities that received the award and we hope to maintain this achievement,” said Tutuka when giving his opening remarks.
