HCML is pleased to announce the completion of the MDA and MBH Platforms, subsea pipelines and Hot-Tap connections to the existing East Java Gas Pipeline. The MDA Platform is recognized as one of the deepest offshore structures installed in Indonesia. Both MDA-MBH platforms were built with two million man-hours of zero incidents. This is a significant achievement for HCML which has worked for more than two (2) years building the assets together with a national EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) contractor.
The MDA & MBH fields located in the Madura Strait began production in October 2022. At the start, the gas lifting volume reached 87 MMSCFD. The gas production capacity generated from the MDA & MBH Field currently reaches 120 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). The gas flowing into the ‘Trunojoyo 01’ Floating Production Unit (FPU) Facility has met the required specifications, and has been delivered to the East Java Gas Pipeline (EJGP) and officially started its commercial period. FPU ‘Trunojoyo 01’ is also expected to be able to process gas at a maximum of 175 MMSCFD. Currently, the MDA & MBH fields have increased gas supply to the entire East Java region and beyond.
